Breast Health Workshop Wed. Nov. 3, 7-8:30 pm

Long Island has a very high incidence of breast cancer. A representative from Sisters United in Health will discuss the steps to good breast health. Referrals will be given for free or low-cost mammograms. You owe it to yourself and your family to lower your breast cancer risk.

It Had to be You Sun. Nov. 7, 2 pm

This delightful comedy is about Theda Blau, a failed actress, and Vito Pignoli, a successful television commercial director. She manages to convince him to be her partner on the page and off. This quick paced comedy will have the audience rolling in the aisles and is presented by Plaza Theatrical Productions

Celebrate Latin Music with Naomi Zeitlin Sun. Oct. 10, 2 pm

Talented songstress Naomi Zeitlin will perform her tribute to Latin music with the songs of Celia Cruz and other popular Latin singers. Her songs, with strong salsa and meringue rhythms, will surely get you dancing.

Theo Torres: Drums of South & Central America, Fri. Aug. 20 7 pm

Brentwood resident Theo Torres and his band will perform on the library lawn. They will play the lively salsa and meringue music of South and Central America.
Join them for some great dancing music. Bring chairs or blankets. This concert is made possible through the support of the Islip Arts Council.

Liverpool Shuffle Friday July 30 at 7 PM

Get ready to hear four talented professional musicians who have a serious passion for Beatles music. They will be performing your favorite Beatles songs on the library lawn. Join them for some musical summertime fun. Bring chairs or blankets. This program is made possible through the support of the Islip Arts Council.
